No matter how much we all would like to embrace the idea that "money is no object," for most of us...this simply isn't true. Money is always a factor in any big decision. Typically the first question you ask is What will this cost?
The chart below compares the costs of several different types of adoption to the Christian Embryo Adoption Network Membership Model, which allows you to connect directly with embryo donors and cuts out expensive "agencies." We've also added the necessary steps/descriptions you will need to know for each adoption type.
To compare even further, we included the cost of IVF Treatment. Successful IVF Treatment often requires more than one round. On the chart, the low end is 1 round of IVF, and the high end included 3 rounds of IVF.

Why the huge difference in cost?
A standard adoption agency treats an adoptive family as a normal adoption. Your fees are associated with this. Then you will have all of the fees for moving the embryos and frozen embryo transfer included after working with a standard adoption agency.
Private Adoption
$30,500 to $48,500
Private or Domestic adoption fees can vary depending on the agency you choose.
A private adoption agency will require an application process and a home study. Other fees like the adoption program fee might include all of the legal aspects of adoption, paperwork, counseling ( of you and the expectant mom), and marketing to find potential expectant mothers who are considering adoption placement.
Foreign Adoption
$25,000-$50,000
It is very important that you chose a good International adoption agency to work with.
Foreign adoption fees are similar to domestic adoption but have additional fees specific to the country you adopt from as well as the fees to make the adopted child a legal citizen of the United States. Fees often include the application process, home study, dossier fee, the adoption program fee (which varies by country), travel, and post-placement fees.
IVF
$20,000- $60,000
According to Fertility IQ, this figure accounts for the procedure and medication costs.
However, the average IVF patient goes through two to three cycles, meaning the total cost of IVF is often between $40,000 and $60,000.
